NASA is working to create a huge nuclear spacecraft Hammer (Hypervelocity Asteroid Mitigation Mission for Emergency Response), which can blow up the giant asteroid Bennu which is heading towards Earth. If the giant asteroid hits earth, its expected to cause massive destruction.
