Home Ministry on Wednesday informed Lok Sabha that the year 2017 saw a significant rise in resignations and voluntary retirement in paramilitary forces, as compared to 2015.
In all, 14,587 officers from paramilitary forces have taken voluntary retirement in the year 2017, as per Home Ministry written statement.
