India Meteorological Department (IMD) hinted that the severe weather condition over northern India were moving towards the Northeastern states. The MeT department warned that a thunderstorm accompanied by squall and heavy to moderate rains would hit parts of eastern India on Wednesday. In fresh warning, the IMD said that a thunderstorm with gusty winds was “very likely” to hit the parts of east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh.
