The scandal engulfing Prince Andrew means it’s more likely than ever that the royal family will be ‘scaled back’ once Prince Charles becomes king, a royal expert has predicted.

Duncan Larcombe, former royal editor at The Sun, said it was “inevitable” that the royals would be pared back following the negative publicity surrounding the family after allegations that Andrew slept with a teenager trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
