West Bengal's Durga Puja is different from rest of the India. It's one of the biggest festivals of the state. Crores of Rupees are spent to build gorgeous Durga Puja Pandals throughout the state. When India was a British colony, Britishers used to take part in the festival with high faith. Lord Wellesley even ordered 9 canon salute on the 9 days of Navratri festival.
