Debate on Vande Mataram has once again intensified with protests from different corners of the country objecting it on religious grounds. After Meerut and Moradabad, mayors of Varanasi and Gorakhpur have announced that ‘Vande Mataram’ will be sung at every meeting of the municipal corporations.
