When Liga de Quito recreated Messi’s indirect penalty

Back in October 2017, Liga de Quito players Sherman Cárdenas and Hernán Barcos successfully recreated the indirect penalty style that Leo Messi and Luis Suárez had done the previous season. That unconventional way of taking a penalty was made famous by Johan Cruyff, who did it in 1982 with his Ajax teammate Jesper Olsen.
