Yuvraj Singh speaking about his stint at Kings XI Punjab said that the franchise didn’t do what he had asked them to.“I wanted to run away from Kings XI Punjab, the management didn’t like me there, they did nothing I asked them to do and when I left they bought all the players I had been asking them to. I love Punjab but I did not like the running of the franchise.

आईपीएल में जिस टीम के साथ युवराज सिंह ने अपने करियर की शुरुआत की उसी पर निशाना साधते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि आईपीएल के दौरान वह किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब की मैनेजमेंट उन्हें पसंद नहीं करती थी।उन्होंने कहा,'किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के साथ खेलने में मुझे कभी मजा नहीं आया। मैं इस टीम से भाग जाना चाहता था। मैनेजमेंट मुझे पसंद नहीं करती थी। मैंने उन्हें जो भी कहा, वह कभी उन्होंने नहीं किया। मैंने जैसे ही टीम को छोड़ा, फ्रेंचाइजी ने उन सभी खिलाड़ियों को खरीद लिया, जिन्हें पहले मैं खरीदने के लिए कहता था।'
