A 437-bed ready-to-use field hospital site opens in Washington, DC, as the city has not yet seen a decline in community transmission. The site will be able to accommodate around 100 patients as of this week, while the city's hospitals are at 71% of their capacity. "We hope that we will never have to use it" says Mayor Muriel Bowser.
