Soar Despite COVID-19 According to TMZ, a Cruise Planners
representative says cruise bookings have
dramatically increased since Carnival announced
its plans to resume some cruises in August. Carnival's bookings reportedly
went up by 600% three days
after the announcement. There are also currently 200% more
bookings than this time last year. According to TMZ, most of the bookings are
being made by young healthy people who are
feeling stir crazy after nationwide lockdowns. They are seemingly
"not a bit concerned about
traveling at this time." Though Carnival intends to
hit the open waters by August,
