COVID-19 cases in PH breach the 11,000 mark

Cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines rose to a total of 11,086, after 292 new cases were confirmed on May 11, Monday, with 75 more recoveries and seven additional fatalities, the Department of Health said.
A total of 1,999 patients have already recovered from the disease, while 726 have succumbed to it, as of May 11.
Of the reported new cases, 162 were recored from the National Capital Region, 74 from Central Visayas, while the remaining 56 new cases were from other parts of the country.
