Londoners celebrate 75th anniversary of VE Day despite social isolation guidelines

Locals were out in full force on Friday afternoon (May 8) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day while enjoying unseasonably warm weather. Residents from homes in Twickenham, West London, took to their front gardens to raise a glass of bubbly and listen to wartime favorites as they commemorated the anniversary. Despite social distancing guidelines, residents filled the roads around Twickenham on one of the warmest days of the year.
