Human Rights Watch calls ABS-CBN shutdown 'crazy' amid COVID-19 crisis

As the National Telecommunications Communication (NTC) issued on Tuesday a cease and desist order against ABS-CBN upon the expiry of its legislative franchise, Human Watch Rights says it is "the wrong time to take this kind of step" as information and communication is "at a premium" during the coronavirus pandemic.
