The government is also exploring the possibility of using Ayurvedic medicines for its treatment amid the growing infection of the corona virus in the country. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on Thursday that the clinical trial of Ashwagandha and other AYUSH medicines is being started from today, to understand how effective these drugs can be in preventing or treating corona infection.

देश में कोरोना वायरस के बढ़ते संक्रमण के बीच सरकार इसके उपचार के लिए आयुर्वेदिक दवाओं के इस्‍तेमाल की संभावनाएं भी तलाश रही है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने गुरुवार को कहा कि अश्‍वगंधा सहित अन्‍य आयुष दवाओं का क्लिनिकल ट्रायल आज से शुरू किया जा रहा है, ताकि ये समझा जा सके कि ये दवाएं कोरोना संक्रमण को रोकने या उसके उपचार में कितनी कारगर साबित हो सकती हैं.
