Even as the nation grapples with the novel coronavirus, news of a gas leak at LG Polymer chemical plant in Visakhapatnam has shocked India. Hundreds were rushed to the hospitals after they suffered a major gas leak, and eight have lost their lives. The gas leak took place at around 2.30 am on Thursday. Bollywood celebrities are taking to social media to pray for the victims and their families.
