South Korea plans to secure land to build 70-thousand housing units in Seoul in order to stabilize the real estate market.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said on Wednesday that by speeding up redevelopment projects and building on unused land ..., it is possible to provide around 25-thousand new housing units each year from 2023 onwards.
These include an eight-thousand unit residential complex in Yongsan, in the middle of Seoul.
Around 6-thousand will be provided as public housing.
