what changes in nature during this lockdown 2020
The environmental changes wrought by the corona-virus were first visible from space.
Then, as the disease and the lock-down spread, they could be sensed in the sky above our heads,
the air in our lungs and even the ground beneath our feet
As motorways cleared and factories closed, dirty brown pollution belts shrunk over cities and industrial centers in country after country within days of lock-down.
First China, then Italy, now the UK, Germany ,India and dozens of other countries are experiencing temporary falls in carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide of as much as 40%,
greatly improving air quality and reducing the risks of asthma, heart attacks and lung disease.
the water quality of river Ganga at Har-ki-Pauri in the holy city of Hardware has been classified as 'fit for drinking',
An unprecedented success which the ambitious schemes of the government could not do for years even after pumping thousands of crores.
On March 25, the first day of the lock down, the average PM 2.5 levels decreased by 22% and nitrogen dioxide — which comes from burning fossil fuels — dropped by 15%, according to air pollution data analyzed by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air.
No doubt it has effected lot of life ,but also have effected our environment in a positive way, what have never seen before.
