Howard University, one of the most prestigious historically black US colleges, opens a coronavirus testing site in an African American neighborhood of Washington, DC. The coronavirus is disproportionately affecting African Americans, who represent 46 percent of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the US capital and 80 percent of the fatalities, according to figures from the Washington mayor's office. The testing is free and will be available for the next three months.
