Russia’s coronavirus infections hit a single-day record high

Russia confirmed 10,633 new Covid-19 infection cases on May 3, 2020, the highest number reported in a single day so far in the country. On the same day, 58 new coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Russia. The country now has the seventh largest number of Covid-19 cases in the world.
