It appears B-1B Lancers returned to the Indo-Pacific region early this month for bomber task force operations out of Anderson Air Base in Guam.
Military sources say four bombers and some 200 airmen from an air base in Texas were deployed to support Pacific Air Forces' training efforts with U.S. allies and carry out strategic deterrence missions to strengthen the rules-based international order in the region.
It's the first time B-1s have been deployed to the region since 2017.
The source added the South Korean military was notified prior to deployment.
