Today's Recipe : Aloo Potol r Dalna (Bengali Cuisine)

Ingredients :
Potato - 1 large diced
Potol/Parwal/Pointed Gourd - 500 gms (Diced)
Finely chopped onion - 4
Turmeric Powder
Salt as per taste
Green chilli - 2 (whole)
Bay leaf - 2
Cinnamon stick - 1/4 inch
Cloves - 3-4
Black Cardamom -1
Cow ghee - 4tsp
You can also use oil to cook.But will need 2 tsp of cow ghee to add at the finishing touch to this recipe for better taste.
For the masala paste :
Garlic - 10 cloves
Coriander seeds/Dhania -1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds/Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - 1/4 inch
Tomato - 1 large chopped
Finely chopped onion - 1tsp
Kashmiri Red chilli - 1 (You can take as per your taste)

How to cook the dish

Step by Step demonstrated in the video.

You can serve it with Roti/Rice/Pulao/Puri or Parantha.You can also add paneer to make it more enriching & add a dose of protein.
