The number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in the country crossed 20,000 with over 600 confirmed deaths on Wednesday, according to latest figures furnished by the health ministry. Maharashtra reported 431 new cases in the last 24 hours. 18 more deaths were recorded as well, according to the public health department of the Maharashtra government.
