Hundreds evacuated after fire breaks out at RS Tower In Bangkok

Hundreds of workers were evacuated after a fire broke out at an office block in Bangkok, Thailand, today (April 22).

Flames sparked panic when an air conditioning unit overheated and caught fire on the 15fth floor of the RS Tower building in the Huai Khwang district of the Thai capital at around 1pm local time.

Staff raced to the emergency exits and congregated outside the building as fire crews arrive to tackle the blaze.

Police Colonel Krishna Phatthanacharoen said they found from the initial investigation that the fire was caused by a compressor in an air con unit overheating.

Nobody was injured in the fire.
