Disabled Filipino man helps pack food for neighbours during COVID-19 pandemic

A disabled Filipino man helps out his community during the coronavirus pandemic by joining the other volunteers to pack relief goods for their neighbours.

Footage shows the man with one hand named Joie Alfon preparing a food pack consisting of rice and some canned goods.

Another volunteer, Salvador Escalante Jr captured the video last April 5 in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.

He said "He was such a good man. Even with his condition, he did his best to help out those around him."

Although the coronavirus epicentre has remained in the northern Philippines, there are still some reported cases in the south which prompted other regions to implement community quarantine measures.
