Jaitley's fresh salvo at Cong, says it is removing poverty since 1951

With 2019 Lok Sabha Elections knocking on the doors, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday announced BJP's main campaign theme- Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar’ along with the party's theme song, which focuses on nationalism and national security. Taking a dig at Congress' manifestos in previous elections, Jaitley said the grand old party has been removing poverty and promising income support schemes since 1951, but could not fulfil its promises in 72 years.
