Uttarakhand is also known as Devbhoomi. There is a plethora of temples at every step. There is also recognition of Bhumia Devta to Gwal Devta, Gram Devta and Kul Devta. But in its beautiful instruments, there are many such unique temples, which are associated with the characters of Mahabharata. Duryodhana and Danveer Karna, the 'villains' of Mahabharata are also worshiped on this earth. Yes, there are temples of Duryodhana and Karna in the Tans valley in Jakhol in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The temple of Duryodhana is in a solar village located on the 'Har Ki Doon' road, about 12 km from a place called Netwar. There is Chakrata, about 95 km from Dehradun and Netwar village, about 69 km from Chakrata. While the Karna temple is in Sarnaul village, about one and a half miles from Netwar.
