The Health Ministry managed to contain a new cluster of Covid-19 infection at the country's entry point involving 43 Malaysian students returning from Indonesia, said Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

"A new cluster was detected at our international entry point where positive cases were found among Malaysians returning from Indonesia through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on April 16.

"This cluster involved 43 students who returned from Temboro, which is one of the areas declared as a red zone in the district of Magetan, Indonesia.

"Of the total, 34 were quarantined in Malacca and nine were quarantined in the Federal Territories," he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.
