Donald Trump is not happy with China and says 'they must have the highest COVID-19 death toll

Donald Trump said China 'must have the highest COVID-19 death toll' at a COVID-19 daily briefing.
The President refers to news China had revised their Wuhan virus epicentre death toll to 50 per cent more than previously reported.

China revised Wuhan’s coronavirus death toll up by 1,290 to 3,869 after the bungling of hospital reporting, an official has admitted.

Mr Trump halted funding and launched an investigation into the World Health Organization (WHO) because of their failure to react quickly enough to China's initial outbreak.

He suspects China 'covered up' the scale of the virus spread in the crucial early weeks when coronavirus might have been contained.
The President is critical of WHO for accepting China's early virus reports without question and projecting them into the global arena, some crucial 'facts' turned out to be misinformation.

The President isn't 'happy with China' and believes despite officials admitting a stats botch, they are still omitting a larger scale of the outbreak and death toll within official global reports.
