Thousands of people queued on Friday outside a much-loved pizza restaurant in Toronto which has been forced out of business by the coronavirus.

Vesuvio Pizzeria & Spaghetti House, a city favourite in the Junction for 63 years, will close permanently after one last delivery and takeout service on Sunday.

“It was too much to keep it going with problems with suppliers, having to keep everyone two to three metres apart, it was a lot of factors,” owner Ettore Pugliese told local media.
