ICC is not in a hurry to take a decision whether the T20 World Cup should be postponed in the wake of COVID-19 or staged as scheduled, saying it is exploring all options as part of its comprehensive contingency planning for all its events.The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in Australia from October 18 to November 15.

कोरोना महामारी के चलते खेल जगत में मानो ब्रेक लग गया है। ओलंपिक, यूएस ओपन जैसे बड़े टूर्नामेंट द्वितीय विश्व युद्द के बाद पहली बार टले तो आईपीएल 2020 भी अनिश्चितकाल के लिए स्थगित कर दिया गया। इसी साल ऑस्ट्रेलिया में वर्ल्ड टी-20 भी खेली जानी है, ऐसे में फैंस को डर है कि कही इस बड़े आयोजन का मजा भी किरकिरा न हो जाए। टी-20 विश्व कप के भविष्य पर शुक्रवार को आईसीसी की ओर से बयान जारी हुआ।
