The Indian Medical Association's protest over NMC bill has failed and the government has been successful in breaking the impasse and getting the bill passed. Speaking to media, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said, "This amendment will be remembered as one of the most remarkable achievements of the Modi government."
