President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the joint session of Parliament. In his address, the President asked the newly-elected lawmakers of the 17th Lok Sabha as well as the members of the Rajya Sabha to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhi. President Kovind congratulated to the government for coming back with a greater mandate. He also lauded the government for its strong step on the front of national security.
