After the exit polls predicted victory for NDA, the opposition parties raised questions over the authenticity of EVMs and moved to EC accusing the present dispensation of EVM swapping. The Election Commission has given the clarification that EVM and VVPAT machines used in the polls are totally secure in strong rooms.
