The outbreak of Coronavirus is increasing in the country, due to which the Chief Ministers of many states have further increased the lockdown in their respective states. At the same time, there are indications of extending the lockdown period from the central government. Amidst the Corona crisis, on Tuesday, April 14, the 129th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the creator of the Constitution, is coming.

बीजेपी और आरएसएस पिछले कुछ सालों से दलितों के बीच पैठ बनाने की कोशिश में हैं. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 2014 के बाद से हर साल अंबेडकर जयंती के मौके पर उनसे जुड़े हुए स्मारकों पर जाते हैं. वहीं, बीएसपी प्रमुख मायावती तो हर साल लखनऊ के अंबेडकर पार्क में जाकर बाबा साहेब की मूर्ति पर माल्यारोपण करती हैं और बड़ा कार्यक्रम करती हैं. ऐसे ही कांग्रेस भी खुद को दलित हितैषी पार्टी साबित करने के लिए हरसंभव कोशिश करती है. हालांकि, इस बार कोरोना के संक्रमण के चलते राजनीतिक दलों को अंबेडकर के नाम पर सियासत करने का मौका नहीं मिल पा रहा है.
