I'm extremely ambivalent about valvrave as a whole, like, a lot of it is genuinely fun to watch in a campy super robot kinda way, but then there's some really objectionable stuff in there (especially a particular scene at the end of episode 10) that makes it hard to recommend to people. I really like the dynamic these two have though, and I think the show handles akira's whole deal pretty respectfully, which is a pleasant surprise.
