AP government completed the process of removing the state election officer Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar by bringing an ordinance and Governor giving an assent to it. Govt had appointed Retired Madras highcourt justice V. Kanagaraj as the new State Election commissioner. As per the GO issued a Three member committee will be formed in the state election commission. With this the long time battle between the SEO, and AP govt turns out to be more intense.
