Easter Sunday is celebrated on the third day of Good Friday. According to beliefs, on this day the Lord Jesus was resurrected. Due to which people celebrate happiness on this day. Jesus Christ is said to have returned for his disciples and preached in the midst of his devotees for 40 days. This day is also considered special because Jesus taught people how to forgive. He was crucified but forgiven all before dying. Importance of eggs at Easter: The way the bird first lays eggs in the slurry. After that the chick comes out of it, in the same way the egg is considered auspicious memorial and it is used in a special way on this day. It is given as a gift to someone, by painting somewhere, decorating it in some other form. This is an auspicious sign.

गुड फ्राइडे के तीसरे दिन ईस्टर संडे मनाया जाता है। मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस दिन प्रभु यीशु पुन: जीवित हो गए थे। जिस कारण इस दिन लोग खुशी मनाते हैं। कहा जाता है कि ईसा मसीह अपने शिष्यों के लिए वापस आए थे और 40 दिनों तक अपने भक्तों के बीच में रहकर उन्होंने उपदेश दिये। ये दिन इसलिए भी खास माना जाता है क्योंकि जीसस ने लोगों को माफ करने का पाठ पढ़ाया। उन्हें सूली पर चढ़ाया गया लेकिन मरने से पहले उन्होंने सभी को माफ कर दिया। ईस्टर में अंडे का महत्व: जिस तरह से चिड़िया सबसे पहले घोसले में अंडा देती है। उसके बाद उसमें से चूजा निकलता है ठीक उसी तरह अंडे को शुभ स्मारक माना जाता है और इसका इस्तेमाल इस दिन खास तरीके से किया जाता है। कहीं चित्रकारी करके, कहीं दूसरे रूप में सजाकर, कहीं किसी को गिफ्ट के तौर पर इसे दिया जाता है। यह एक शुभ संकेत होता है।
