Michael Talasazan, also known as the 'Shofar Guy' plays his shofar in support of health care workers fighting against COVID-19.

A shofar is an ancient musical horn typically made of a ram's horn, typically used for Jewish religious purposes.

Michael plays the instrument at 7 PM every evening night in Midtown East, as part of the #ClapBecauseWeCare campaign.

He explains what the shofar is used for in his culture and where it comes from, saying he received it from his grandfather in Israel.

This video was shot on April 10.
