Coronavirus: Pakistani doctors arrested for protesting about lack of equipment to fight Covid-19

About 150 doctors and other medical staff were reportedly arrested in the Pakistan city of Quetta on March 6, 2020, after they protested against a lack of protective equipment for hospital staff amid the coronavirus pandemic. The arrests in the capital of the border province of Balochistan happened as medics clashed with police. The protesters were marching toward the chief minister’s secretariat building where they staged a sit-in.
