PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated netizens for exposing Putrajaya’s approvals for brewers Heineken Malaysia Bhd and Carlsberg to continue its operations during the movement control order (MCO) period.
Yesterday Putrajaya has revoked the approvals for brewers Heineken Malaysia Bhd and Carlsberg to continue its operations during the movement control order (MCO) period.
The government had received backlash over the approval including from Umno, PAS and Bersatu leaders who had criticised them for making such a decision when alcohol was not an essential product.
