During her speech, the queen thanked everyone in the National Health Service for their “essential roles.” She then thanked those staying home and protecting those who are vulnerable. Queen Elizabeth said: Together we are tackling this disease, and I want to reassure you that if we remain united and resolute, then we will overcome it.”
