Amazon Workers Claim Company Continues To Send Out 'Non-Essential' Items
  • 4 years ago
Amazon said it would continue operations to “provide essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic.” Yet workers said they are putting their lives at risk to fulfill orders that don’t seem very “essential.” One worker said: "We're creating more disaster than we're helping. There's nothing on our truck that is essential.” According to Business Insider, workers say they have sent rhinestones, keto diet food and dog brushes. Instead of sending out more medical supplies or groceries, workers send out things like ping pong paddles.
