Major General Olusegun Adeniyi is seen in this viral video giving an update to his superiors about the Operation Laifya Dole taking place in the North East.

He revealed that the Boko Haram insurgents overwhelmed his troops but that the soldiers were not running or disobeying orders.

Major Adeniyi has since been redeployed.
