संक्रमण दुनियाभर में तेजी से बढ़ता जा रहा है। हर दिन इससे होने वाली मौतों के आंकड़े भी बढ़ रहे हैं। कोरोना से संक्रमित मरीजों के संपर्क में आने से यह वायरस और तेजी से फैलता जा रहा है। ऐसे मरीजों की संख्या भी बहुत ज्यादा है, जिनके संक्रमित होने के बावजूद उनमें कोरोना के लक्षण नहीं दिखते हैं। साउथ चाइना मॉर्निंग पोस्ट की रिपोर्ट में ऐसे मरीजों की संख्या 30 फीसदी बताई गई है। वहीं, चीन में ही विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन की ओर से की गई हेल्थ स्टडी में भी ऐसे एक से तीन फीसदी ऐसे मरीज सामने आए थे, संक्रमित होने के बावजूद जिनमें कोरोना के लक्षण नहीं पाए गए थे। इन मरीजों को असिम्प्टोमैटिक कहा जाता है। अब चुनौती ये है कि कोरोना के लक्षण वाले मरीजों से तो लोग अपना बचाव कर लें और सावधानियां बरत लें, लेकिन जिनमें कोरोना के लक्षण न दिखाई दें, उनसे कैसे बचाव किया जाए!
