Kim Kardashian to Star in
Prison Reform Documentary For the past two years, Kardashian has been using
her platform to advocate for social justice reform. Her efforts were chronicled
in the upcoming documentary,
'Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project.' According to 'People,' the film follows Kardashian
as she advocates for the release of four inmates
that she believes were unfairly sentenced. The reality star gained notoriety after her
campaign to free Alice Marie Johnson led to
President Donald Trump granting Johnson clemency. Johnson was convicted of a
non-violent cocaine trafficking crime
and served 21 years in prison. Kardashian is currently an apprentice at a
San Francisco law firm and is working toward taking the
California bar exam to fulfill her hopes of becoming a lawyer. The two-hour documentary will
air Sunday, April 5, on Oxygen.
