Fire chiefs issue plea for parents to keep children at home after grass blaze

Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed the grass blaze, near Linskill in Holycarrside in Sunderland, was started by children.
Under coronavirus restrictions, people have been told they should only leave their homes for work, if they cannot do their job from home, medical reasons and to shop for essential items.
