The World Health Organization (WHO) supports people in quarantine playing video games. Twitch and Activison Blizzard encourage people to maintal physical distance but connect with others through video games. The two companies are part of a campaign called #PlayApartTogether. Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick said: “Games are the perfect platform because they connect people through the lens of joy, purpose and meaning. According to Business Insider, WHO ambassador fot global strategy hopes gaming can help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
