Indian workers quarantine themselves in tree after returning to their village

Seven labourers who recently returned to their village in Balrampur, Purulia, have taken shelter in a tree in order to quarantine themselves.

Upon their return, doctors advised them to quarantine themselves for 14 days to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. As many of the workers live in single-room houses with their families, they decided to live in a tree for two weeks.

The villagers have tied cloth and makeshift beds to the branches of the tree.

This footage was filmed on March 28.
