Spain’s coronavirus-related death toll passed a grim milestone on March 25, 2020, surpassing that of China, the original epicentre of what is now a global pandemic. As of March 26, Spain had confirmed 47,610 cases and 3,434 deaths. The country now has the second largest number of deaths reported, following Italy.
