Under the directives of the Inspector General of Police Sindh, Mr. Mushtaq Mahar and Additional IGP Karachi Range, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Memon and under the supervision of the DIG Security and Emergency Services Division, Mr. Maqsood Ahmed a flag march was taken out by the Commandos of the Special Security Unit- SSU Karachi. The flag march routed through different areas of Karachi to counter the spread of pandemic Corona virus and to ensure lockdown imposed by the government of Sindh. On this event DIGP , Mr. Maqsood Ahmed said that the purpose of the flag march is to ensure lockdown imposed by the Government and create awareness among citizens about the deadly disease that they should remain in their houses as this virus spreads through social contacts and networking. He appealed the citizens of Karachi to remain confined in their homes and come out only during emergency situations – 23.03.2020
